Thermoplastics

Thermoplastics are commonly used in orthotics and prosthetics due to their ability to be moulded and reshaped when heated, allowing for a customised fit. These materials are lightweight, durable, and provide excellent support, making them ideal for creating custom braces, splints, and prosthetic sockets. Thermoplastics also offer flexibility, comfort, and can be easily modified over time to accommodate changes in the user’s needs.
